Stepping into our office may feel outside of your comfort zone, but you can trust that it is a safe container for your thoughts, emotions, and past traumas to be witnessed in an unbiased way.

My philosophical approach to therapy is that therapy is a journey of one’s life’s destiny to find self understanding and awareness to have transformative experiences.
Sojourn
Creating a temporary space for transformation for one's life journey where they can feel safe, seen, and heard.
Safe Space
A safe space is created by two people - the therapist and the client. Within this safe space container, the client can feel they can take off their armour to reveal their vulnerabilities and their resiliency. The job of the therapist is to make sure that they understand the client's definition of safety and continuously provide for it in the therapy sessions.
Life is a Journey
You are uniquely made and as such you have experiences that bring you to a crossroads with stuck points. With these stuck points, you have the opportunity to have a broken-open experience and look at a rupture in a different way to repair it - to be able to bring in healing and movement within your system.
Reframe
There are stories that have kept you stuck and held you down. The reframe is a way to pivot that story to show you the strength and the facts of that story in order for you to make an informed decision to change it.
Validation
You want to heard and validated. My idea of validation is seeing your world and allowing you to be seen - fully, authentically, and with vulnerability and loving-kindness. You are important.
Your words and thoughts have meaning and your emotions are relevant.
Co-Regulation & Connection
Coming into a calm system (therapist and office) helps a client reduce feelings of stress, overwhelm, and disconnectedness.
The therapist is a regulated calm system. The therapist teaches the client how to co-regulate with the therapists' system to create connection and healing.
Broken-Open
Rupture - Repair - Rejoin
In any relationship (even with ourselves) there are ruptures that we have the responsibility to repair.
Rejoining is taking wisdom and awareness to put the pieces back together to create a whole new structure. This concept is beautifully represented by the Japanese art of Kintsugi.
Exploration
To provide a safe place to explore and discover what could be underneath the surface of emotional pain and trauma. Leaning into your curiosity and asking what message the pain is telling you.
Transformation
Therapy is a dramatic metamorphosis of change. In therapy, the therapist is a witness to your transformation and holds space for you to do it.
